Dave This sitcom is about a family who live in suburban Michigan. A sports columnist, Paul, stays at home whilst his wife, Cate, works as a nurse. Paul was played by John Ritter. After Ritter died suddenly, Paul died suddenly off-screen. Cate was then made the protagonist. Cate's sister's son and her father were brought in as regular characters.Kaley Cuoco is brilliant as elder daughter Bridget.

atinder This show was great, it wasn't just for kids which I thought at first, it is for the whole family.The first season was mostly about the father looking after is two daughters and son, he sadly passed away in season 2, I Could believe it when I heard it.I am clad they carried on with the show as that what would really happen in really life and I need to mention The Goodbye Episode it was so well made, it must of be so hard for them to film this , you could tell they were real tears in theirs eyes. I am 24 year old male and this episode did make me cry me as I know how they felt as my father died when I was 13 years too just like Roy.Season 2 and Season 3 had great comedy in there also season 3 had some of my Favorites such Freaky Friday, Secrets.I Still think the show was Strong enough to go on, I was disappointed that it ended, it was one the best no it was the best Family comedy show ever since Home Improvement and it could have been the next Friends.it should never have ended but still love watching the repeats everyday.

math_drama This show is awesome. I thought that the two episodes where Paul died were so sad; I actually cried. But the other shows were awesome; Kerry was my favorite character, because she was in "the dark side." I also thought that Bridget was funny because she was all perky. I also thought that guy who played Kyle was really, really cute. I loved it when Kerry made sarcastic remarks about everything. The guy who played Rory was cute, and Paul, played by John Ritter, was really funny. This whole entire TV show is funny, and I wish they still showed it on TV. when they did show it on TV, though, I watched it every single time it was on. The next time it shows, I will watch it over and over again.

xx_natalie_xx I found 8 Simple Rules completely opposite to my home life, but I really enjoyed it. I think the character's can be stereotyped, which adds to the style of humour the show produces. I think it truly was an amazing show, still is, though as I can speak for a majority... John a.k.a the father Paul... Will definitely be truly and sadly missed, he was a great guy! Rocked! The show will never be the same! I highly recommend viewing the older shows, with the whole gang; typical blonde Bridget, the ever caring and humorous mother Kate, the funny and trying father, the younger and irritable yet mischievous Rory, and Kerry. She happens to be my personal favourite, her impressions of Bridget and outlooks on life are priceless!Wow factor guys! Natalie
