Reviews
Linbeymusol Wonderful character development!
AboveDeepBuggy Some things I liked some I did not.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Stephanie There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
joshcardinal-08123 I'm an adult but I get songs from this movie stuck in my head allllll the time. As a kid I wanted to dress and act just like Zenon and live in Space and honestly it sucks that we don't? Anyway, great kids movie for all ages, good message without being saccharine, this is my favorite DCOM ever.
bkoganbing It will be interesting in the year 2049 to see if the future world predicted in Zenon: Girl Of The 21st Century is actually here. At this point in time many science fiction future films have fallen short of the mark. Don't mean they're not good entertainment and this one from Disney Studios certainly is.Kirsten Storms is in the title role and Zenon's a bright and spunky child who with her family is on a traveling space station that has explored a lot of the solar system and beyond. But she suspects something is amiss with millionaire Frederick Coffin and his sleazy aide Bob Bancroft who have endowed a lot of their money to the project. In these films the hero/heroine always has good instincts. Her good instincts uncover a plot to destroy the space station itself with a computer virus during the first outer space rock concert by a futuristic David Bowie named Proto Zoa played by Phillip Rhys. Do you doubt that our resourceful teen saves the day? All of course after the ultimate grounding of being kicked off the station back to the home world.Zenon: Girl Of The 21st Century is one of the better Disney television films and it was popular enough to spawn a sequel. Look for a nice performance by Raven Symone as Storms's best friend who runs interference for her. And Coffin and Bancroft are a pair of villains like Captain Hook and Smee.
carebearsweety16 I saw Zenon: Girl of 21st century about 4 years ago and thought is was fun, exciting and sweet. I'm 16 now and I still think the movie is just all out fun. So the lines aren't that great but honestly, this movie is suppose to take place in the future and who knows how we'll speak then anyway. Kirsten Storms is a very good actress and like most have you have said "she shows real promise". I didn't think the sequel or pardon me "zequel" was as good as the first. But I am looking forward to the 3rd! (Zenon: Zee Three!! :-) Raven-Synmone and Kirsten Storms both made a big leap into their acting with this very movie. Raven-Synmone now has her won show "That's so Raven" and has a runner up of movie titles coming her way. Kirsten Storms has been on the big soap opera "Days of our lives" and other smaller features. They (both girls) are exceptional actresses and are quickly making their names famous! Zenon is a great movie, it may be for kids but you won't be bored! It's all out fun! Major!
sarahbelle77 Wow, I haven't seen a movie this good and with this much energy in a long time! Kirsten Storms is just amazing as Zenon. Her confidence, just-do-it attitude, optimism and energy makes the viewer feel alive. This movie is a great adventure, and if you're like me, will leave you feeling alive and inspired!
