Reviews
Whitech It is not only a funny movie, but it allows a great amount of joy for anyone who watches it.
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Iseerphia All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
nick_6100 WWE SmackDown!'s first Pay Per View of the Year in 2004 turned out to be the best night in sports entertainment to this date. This Pay Per View was well done by the SmackDown! brand and its Superstars.1. Too Cool (Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty) defeated. The Basham Brothers (Doug and Danny Basham) and Shaniqua in a Intergender 2 on 3 Handicap Match for WWE Tag Team Championship. This match to kick things off was Kind of boring but then I really got stuck into once Rikishi hit Shaniqua with that nasty rear end of his. Too Cool picks up the win a rather bu faulty opener.Rating: 5/10 ( D ) 2. Jamie Noble defeated. Nidia in an Intergender Blindfold match Turns out that Noble would have to wear the blindfold. Noble won which wasn't surprising but what a girl basher. This match should have been saved for SmackDown!, not Pay Per View maybe even Velocity.Rating: 3/10 ( D - ) 3. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) defeated. The APA (Farooq and Bradhshaw) in a good tag team contest which ended with a crappy ending.Rating: 6/10 ( C ) 4. Hardcore Holly defeated. Rhyno in an Intense but good one on one match.Rating: 6/10 ( C ) 5. Chavo Guerrero w/ Chavo Classic defeated. Rey Mysterio w/Jorge Paez to win the Cruiserweight Championship in a decent match.Rating: 6/10 ( C ) Goldberg makes an appearance in the crowd Lesnar and GM Heyman come out Goldberg spears Lesnar then the cops take him away. I thought Goldberg would be coming to SmackDown! at this point.6. Kurt Angle defeated. The Big Show and John Cena in a great Triple Threat Match.Rating: 7/10 7. Eddie Guerrero defeated. Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship in an Excellent match. Eddie had some assistance from Goldberg whom came out again and Speared Lesnar. A great match. Rating 8/10 ( B )Eddie becomes the WWE Champion for the first time.Overall Rating: 7 out of 10 ( B - )
Angelus2 This pay per view will forever be known as the time Eddie Guerrero became champ.Eddie a wrestler I've been rooting for since WCW finally gets what he deserves, a place in the great hall of champions. The match captivates what Latino Heat is about, fire and passion and most importantly the skills he has to make him one of the best technical wrestlers of all time.Eddie out smarts Brock on ever turn, while Brock only succeeds in terms of strength, the match is finally interrupted by another WCW wrestler, Bill Goldberg who decides to Spear his opponent, but Eddie comes back with a Frog splash and takes what rightfully belongs to him.Must have for Eddie fans.
kliko400 now I am a Smackdown fan & I enjoy Smackdown pay per views, because this one wasn't really bad, it was actually good.First match- Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Basham Brothers & Shaniqua in a 2-3 handicap tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. To kick off No Way Out this match wasn't really bad, but it also wasn't very good as it was mostly sloppy. But it was good to see Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty to retain their Tag Team Titles. 4/10.Second match- World's Greatest Tag Team vs. APA Another tag team which was better than the last. Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas {The World's Greatest Tag Team} get the victory over APA. 5/10.Third match- Jamie Noble vs. Nidia in a blindfold match Okay why this match happened I do not know but it was pretty lame & boring. Jamie Noble wins by cheating as usual. 2/10 Fourth match- Hardcore Holly vs. Rhyno This match was very good as these two men can seriously put a very great match on pay per view. Hardcore Holly gets the win. 5/10 Fifth match- Rey Mysterio w/ Jorge Paez vs. Chavo Guerrero w/ Chavo Classic for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship WOW, what a match, both Chavo & Mysterio have definitely pulled the best match of the night. Chavo wins the WWE Cruiserweight title after using Chavo Classic's hand as leverage while pinning Mysterio to get the cheat win. 7/10.Sixth match- John Cena vs. Kurt Angle vs. Big Show in a triple-threat match for the no. contendership to verse the WWE Champion at Wrestlemania XX This was also a great triple-threat match up by these three men. Kurt Angle becomes no. 1 contender after making John Cena tap out to the Ankle Lock. 6/10 Seventh match- Brock Lesnar vs. Eddie Guerrero for the WWE Championship Wasn't really bad, it was actually good even though Brock Lesnar didn't win. Eddie Guerrero wins & become the WWE Champion after a Frog Splash on Brock Lesnar after Goldberg interfered & nailed the Spear on Lesnar. 6/10 Overall: Not a bad pay per view at all, I'll give it 7/10 & a C
wrestlingsitewebmaster This was a pretty good PPV, which surprised me, because Smackdown's! PPV's are usually rubbish.Match one actually took place on Sunday Night Heat, in which Tajiri, Akio and Sakoda took on Paul London, Ultimo Dragon and Kidman in a very good but short match. If only McMahon could get his 'WWE is only a big man's promotion idea' out of his head! Then all of a sudden WWE changed its minds and laid out some pretty crap matches. These included The Basham Brothers and Shaniqua vs Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi in a passable effort, Rhyno vs Hardcore Holly in a boring match (however I must give Holly some credit, he took a nasty spine buster from Rhyno which made my toes curl and the crowds as well!) and the APA vs Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas in a solid but unspectacular effort. Unlike Wrestlemania 7 were Jake 'the snake' Roberts took on Rick Martel in a memorable blindfold match, the same match putting Nidia and Jamie Noble done nothing for me. Noble cheated and won of course, but why did this match take place? The next two matches were good indeed. United States Champion, Big Show faced John Cena and Kurt Angle in a fine match, which shocked me because Cena sucks on the technical side of wrestling. Then Brock Lesnar put his WWE title on the line against Eddie Guerrero in a fine match. The only thing that spoiled it was Goldberg spearing Lesnar, but it was very solid enough!Akio/Sakoda/Tajiri vs Dragon/London/Kidman - 8.5/10 Noble vs Nidia - 3/10 Bashams/Shaniqua vs Scotty and Rikishi - 5/10 APA vs WGTT - 5.5/10 Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero - 7.5/10 Rhyno vs Holly - 5/10 Cena vs Show vs Angle - 7.5/10 Lesnar vs Eddie Guerrero - 8/10
