MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Griff Lees Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
jacquelinewrite I can't recommend this film highly enough. It fully engrossed me. The hybrid of drama and documentary served the story in a organic and mind blowing way. The documentary story of a man digging for the truth about his father and the effect that that search for truth has had on his life while the dramatization of his fathers story unfolds was powerful and painfully thought provoking. The cinematography and the production design were breath taking! Peter Sarsgaard's performance was award worthy -- his performance broke my heart. Man. Errol Morris has delivered a film like nothing I have seen before. And his unique way of telling this story does not serve him as a director but rather the story -- the complexity of shots and hybrid story telling is organic and sincere.
ryanfarnin Goes off in multiple directions at times. Hard to describe without spoiling any of it - just watch for yourself!
abmarchant . . . also obvious, tiresome, repetitious, and low-rent. Long, moody pauses substitute for meaningful dialogue. The interviews are edited to draw attention to words that the filmmaker can then clumsily twist. The cinematography is weighed down by endlessly recycled special effects.
barella-lee I must have been living under a rock all my life! Maybe it's that I'm not a conspiracy theorist... I've heard of the LSD experiments sure, but knowones 'story' ever compelled me to slide down that rabbit hole. This was done well. This isn't a series, it's a true story told with all the teeny tiny dirty details. Very compelling... watched this and read more all in one night, gripping story. Errol Morris did an excellent job!
