Lachlan Coulson This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Praveen Anand I was excited when I saw the poster of the movie...really longed to watch a movie like this...really a good effort...The main icing on the cake is Bret Lee...who underplays his role...the duration seems to be taut...a natural looking lady Tanisha who seems to be effortless in her role..the girl who played the daughter was so cute till the very end...the drawback is the scenes involving the husband character from Meera's past....kidnapping??..the anger that Meera displays after the kidnapping of her daughter seems to be meaningless...what would Will do anyway??...other than that the emotional chord seems to come out well in one scene where Meera rues about the cultural dilemma faced by the immigrants...a treat to watch I mean the movie as a whole...😊😊
ajay-rathi The movie was very captivating. A combination of Australian and Indian stars have been portrayed beautifully. The mix of comedy and emotion has been crafted well by the director. Most of the actors have done justice to their role and Bret lee as a debutante have done a good job. The topic is very relevant to today's world and each moment has been captured well. The debutante director anupam das sharma have done a magnificent job and the way the movie has been directed does not give an impression that it has been directed by newbie. The pace of the movie was well maintained and it never gave a moment of drab. We will forward to more movies from the director and wish all the best to bret lee, anupam and tanisha
andy simmons Nice romantic-comedy about a Indian-Assuie girl which has to fight against her family's strict traditions in order to marry a non-Indian boy. I think that, for the Indian's, this movie must be full of topics and stereotypes, but for the ones who don't know about Indian way of life is pretty funny. There are all kind of weird characters , and the starring actress makes an outstanding job showing us an independent, liberated, strong, confident, successful single mother. Nice dialogues, nice rhythm... Fun, hilarious, light, enjoyable and eye opening. Just a nice entertainment for a Sunday afternoon. Watch it and you will enjoy every moment of it.
michael brown I went into this film thinking I would see a "nice" film that "deserved to be seen" (which is too often code for a boring movie). I laughed my ass off, as did the whole audience. This is the most entertaining movie I've seen in months time and again the filmmakers found a way to surprise me. A tight story. Terrific performances from the stars all the way down to the tiniest roles. Perfect pacing. Graceful, muscular directing. This is not a "good little movie" -- it's a good movie. A smart, funny film. It would have been very easy for the filmmakers to fall back into stereotypes while writing and shooting this movie, but they skillfully steered clear of any pitfalls that plague so many other movies out there, especially in this genre.
