Nonureva Really Surprised!
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
tnhiker This is a poorly produced DVD when compared with other fabulous productions. The sound quality was especially poor quality until we discovered that the default audio setup was for PCM instead of Dolby 5.1. Once we corrected that oversight, the sound quality was at least almost as good as the CD sound on the Drops of Jupiter music CD.Lighting is poor and there are few decent zoom shots of individual artists. Strike 1.Yes it is a live concert recording but the audience sound is a bit obnoxious--almost as though much of the recording source was from open mikes located in the vicinity of the stage instead of directly from the individual mikes for each artist/instrument. Probably it is just a poor mix selection. Strike 2.If there was much excitement from the artists during this performance, it must have been edited-out. Mostly, the performance is boring. Fans would be just as well-served by listening to the music CD in a dark room with the TV turned off.Save your money.
d83ds This DVD is AMAZING...No other DVD I own has toped this one, that's for sure! I have watched this DVD more times than I can count. These guys have definitely worked their EXTREMELY hard to get where they are! Pat's vocals are just SUPERB, Jimmy's guitar skills are out of this world, and Scott, Rob, and Charlie's talents are incredible as well. Definitely take the time to check this DVD out! You won't regret it!!! ...And if you think they are amazing in this DVD, you should see them NOW!!! These guys are definitely a live band and just keep getting better! The DVD also contains bonus material including exclusive band interviews, band member bios, and DOJ music video!!!
Charlotte Scovill This is definitely a DVD concert I would recommend to anyone I would come across in a music store. For not only do you get to hear this wonderful group, but also see them performing at their best!! Their music seems to come from all types of influences from ballads, to hard rock, to classic rock. There is no way someone could listen to these guys and not fall in love with what they hear. This DVD allows current fans and new-comers to see what they have missed if they have never see Train live in concert! Train is still making music and most recently have the first single off the Spider Man 2 soundtrack. It is a song called Ordinary and it is amazing!! I love these guys, and they perform with the greatest love of both their music and their fans!
beckyjsbx On May 26, 2001, Train returned to the band's hometown to play a sold-out gig at San Francisco's historic Warfield Theatre. Culminating in an extensive headlining springtime tour, Train gave the Bay Area audience a career-defining performance. Midnight Moon puts you on stage with Train to relive the power and passion of that Legendary Warfield show, and backstage with exclusive footage of the gig. This DVD is really something special for Train fans of all ages. Whether you were first introduced to the band with 'Meet Virginia' from their debut self titled album, or the astounding 'Drops of Jupiter' from their Grammy award winning second studio album 'Drops of Jupiter', Midnight Moon is one of the rare music DVDs where you gain a real insight into the band and the friendships within.Go buy it now, you wont be disappointed.
