The Witness Trailers

Transformed by the love of a kitten, a tough New York City construction contractor is inspired to rescue abandoned animals, become a vegetarian, and take his message of compassion to the streets. A construction contractor who grew up on the mean streets of Brooklyn, Eddie Lama is probably the last person you'd figure to be an animal activist. Indeed, Eddie was raised with a deeply ingrained aversion to animals, as he explains in the award-winning documentary "The Witness." But when a pretty woman asks him to take care of her kitten, he finds himself reluctantly agreeing as a ploy to get a date, not knowing that his life is about to change forever. In the end, it is the kitten who captures his heart, opening his eyes to the wonder of other living creatures and awakening him to the richness of the human-animal bond.

Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
afterfoolishness-imdb This is a documentary about an unlikely animal rights activist.Eddie Lama is a construction contractor from a tough Brooklyn neighborhood who feared and had very little exposure to animals for most of his tough inner city life. One day he agrees to take care of a cat for an extended period in order to impress a date. The relationship that developed between him and the cat inspired Eddie Lama to change his life. Lama starts rescuing abandoned animals, he becomes a vegetarian, and ultimately an animal rights activist. The great thing about this film is that Eddie Lama doesn't fit the stereotype of an Animal Rights activist. He is a down to Earth tough guy type who would look more at home as an extra in a Rocky sequel then at a vegetarian convention.Well worth seeing.
MovieManiaMan The Witness is the most power documentary that one can watch. After seeing this movie I have become a vegetarian, and so have many of my friends from this. It is a wonderfully directed video with a potent message. However, this message is presented in a wonderful story about an average guy from New York that becomes an animal activist. His story is truly inspirational and I urge everyone to see it.
