Reviews
Pluskylang Great Film overall
Micransix Crappy film
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Cheryl A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
bainf When I saw the trailer accidentally on YouTube, I immediately showed my two daughters. We laughed at how this seemed like a rip off of a ahem Disney movie set in "something" dale Be aware this contains a spoiler at the end We decided to watch it with the express intention of making fun of it at every moment. Sadly for me, the plot is unique enough to stand on its own even though this movie takes themes from many other plots and was not bad, just cheap. Like Barbie movies, there is the obligatory Pegasus and fairies which seem to have no real purpose and has obligatory songs as it tries to cover all bases. Plot holes abound and it does seem like there are missing scenes as the movie suffers from poor editing probably due to budget The movies main drawback is cheap animation, cutting to 2D when it could for flash backs and even worse simply changing the frame rate when someone needs to move slow or fast, and body movement at the bottom of the 3D ladder The voice acting is average, in line with the budget, but I had to increase the centre speaker so the voices could be heard over the background music. As the credits rolled, this movie was clearly made some years ago and has only seen the light of day thanks to Disneys success. Be warned this movie contains no ice, just two sisters with brown and blonde hair None of this really bothers kids too much and my 7 year old did want to watch it again but that will only happen when I am not around.spoiler alert concerning appropriateness, The queen dies early on by falling into blackness, she does NOT make a surprise happy ending returnMy recommendation is to sit through Frozen or any other good movie for the umpteenth time instead
