Inadvands Boring, over-political, tech fuzed mess
Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Desertman84 Ashley Scott, Aiden Turner and Jennifer Taylor stars in this one of the "The Perfect ____________" Lifetime TV movies entitled "The Perfect Boyfriend" which the first that I have seen among those type of movies that I have recorded in my DVR.April is a still trying to recover from a divorce that she has had.In fact, she was having a hard time to recover from it.After she finally overcome her struggles, she decides to go back and meet out guys to date. She meets Jacob and fall in love with him.Despite the fact that he happens to be rich and handsome,he is into dark and sinister plans with his wife Karen and April becomes their next target of scheming off money from her.But as always especially with Lifetime TV movies,we know how it is going to end.No question that this happens to be a poor Lifetime TV movie as the events that unfold become somewhat boring aside from being very predictable. What's also worse is the character of Karen who acts very mental especially in getting jealous of April despite the fact that they are working together against her.I felt that Jacob simply does not know his wife very well that led them to many disasters in the end. Too bad that I felt that Karen needed to be mental to provide us the usual protagonist overcoming the villain in the end.But despite of Karen being mental and the lack of clarity in her character,I really found Jennifer Taylor still beautiful after all these years from "Two And A Half Men".
wes-connors Tall, short-haired veterinarian Ashley Scott (as April Hill) welcomes blonde cousin Carrie Wiita (as Riley Parks) into her home for an extended visit. Seems she's been having problems with hunky blond boyfriend Thor Knai (as Aiden). A divorced mother of one, Ms. Scott is on friendly terms with her ex-husband, Jason Brooks (as Chuck Gridge). He is a big shot building constructor. Scott meets "The Perfect Boyfriend" of the movie title in the form of muscular and attractive Aiden Turner (as Jacob Tellman). But he is really coupled with seemingly psycho secretary Jennifer Taylor (as Karen), which is obvious from the opening minutes. They want the fortune controlled by 64-year-old family matriarch Susan Blakely (as Clara Hill)...Director Robert Malenfant and writer Corbin Mezner assemble a detailed group of characters for this story of business intrigue and killing. Not much happens in the first half. In fact, it's rather tedious. The second half his more eventful. The characters emerging as the real heroine and hero are a somewhat surprising, considering their first scenes; their roles are the best and most naturally played. Leading woman Scott has an engaging, attractive manner and appearance. However, there are times when she looks like an arched alien from one of the "Star Trek" spin-offs. This is most obvious when she raises her eyebrows. Too much artificiality shows in much of the production, but the cast is attractive and the ending nicely staged.**** The Perfect Boyfriend (2013-07-05) Rob Malenfant ~ Ashley Scott, Jennifer Taylor, Aiden Turner, Carrie Wiita
