Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Ortiz Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
dbdumonteil Christian -Jacques,like so many directors of the forties/Fifties collapsed in the sixties. And I do not put the blame on the new wave for once.He cast the legendary couple of the Angelique movies (Robert Hossein and Michèle Mercier) in a whodunit so predictable you will have guessed the truth (or to be precise "the second truth",which is the title of the movie)long before the end. This kind of cinema was completely out of time in 1966.Word to the wise:do take Christian -Jacques's "les disparus de Saint Agil instead!
