Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Kimball Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
GUENOT PHILIPPE That perfect topic for a film made and played by Elie Chouraqui and Richard Berry. Or it could have been for Alexandre Arcady too. The tale of a young man who, one day, goes to a trip in Germany to visit a former Nazi labor camp, but not extermination although. And when visiting the museum besides the camp itself, he has the feeling to recognize his father, or a ringer of him, on a photo...The kind of topic already been done a dozen times before and speaking of Jewish people and holocaust. A movie made so that the audiences weep. But let's be fair, this horrible tragedy must not be forgotten, even if those stories may seem a little cheesy from time to time. I got a little bored, I admit. But it's worth seeing. And I was pleased to see here Jean Sorel and Michel Bouquet.
