Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
copycat-30317 Who knew that there is an industry developing around insects as food? The Gateway Bug presents a fascinating picture of how dedicated individuals are working to save the planet with bugs. For example, crickets provide high-protein nourishment for cattle, reducing the need for the ever-scarcer water needed to grow corn. (There are bug-snacks for humans too, but I choose not to go there.) This is an engrossing, well-conceived documentary that reveals another inconvenient truth. I found it eye opening.
