The Bentley Effect Trailers

When the Northern Rivers of NSW community found their home being threatened by gas field industrialization, a critical mass of citizens from all walks of life responded to the call.Told through the eyes of the "Protectors" over a five-year period and inter-cut with fresh insight from some of the world's leading social commentators, this feature documentary captures and celebrates what is described as the non-violent 'Eureka Stockade' of our time.

Reviews
Micransix Crappy film
ChicRawIdol A brilliant film that helped define a genre
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
brianloffler This is by far the most powerful and inspiring movie I have seen on effective community organizing and activism to protect our precious planet for future generations. It's highly recommended for a dose of optimism. In a fine example of great storytelling, this beautifully produced movie is a gripping tribute to the commitment of the people of the Northern Rivers, who put their bodies on the line to care for the earth that sustains us.
