The Game That Kills Trailers

Ferguson is a rough-and-tumble hockey player who discovers that his chosen profession is nothing more than a racket, a plaything for game-fixing racketeers. When his brother is killed in a highly suspicious accident, Ferguson and team trainer Holland join forces to bring the killers to justice.

Reviews
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Hayleigh Joseph This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
dbdumonteil Very short movie, which might interest Rita Hayworth's fans ,although do not expect the sex symbol of "Gilda";she is cast as a nice pretty wise girl, the coach' s daughter ,an occasional journalist in love with the new member of the hockey team;the plot deals with the (accidental?)death of a loyal player :his brother ,in order to investigate ,joins the team under a French pseudo "Moreau";the plot features blackmail ,rigged games,hostage-taking ,business as usual ;but the games are well filmed and the screenplay well constructed .One may think that the final verdict is a little hard on the alcoholic player ,who is not really evil, victim of his vice (or is it because of remorse he went to the booze?)
