The Burrow Trailers

KAFKA'S THE BURROW tells the story of a man's "metamorphosis" (as Kafka would put it) in a rapidly changing and increasingly isolated world. A man (Axel Prahl), who has seemingly achieved everything, ensconces himself in his burrow, a fortress-like apartment complex. But no matter how hard he tries to keep the outside world at a distance, he gets more and more entangled in his own web of fear and paranoia: those outside know he is there, they want him, they want his wealth, and they are inevitably going to get him ...

Reviews
Lumsdal Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
Calum Hutton It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
Sabah Hensley This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Ingo Ludwig Frenzel This movie is based on famous literature. But it does not make the mistake to try to duplicate literature in any way. Instead it delivers the experience you could get if you where a part of the story. It does this in two ways: On the surface you can watch the development the character undergoes, but more importantly you experience over the time you watch the story unfold something yourself that is more than just observing things happening to other people. It is more in the league of movies like 2001 that are a journey also for the audience. If you are open to a different and deep and demanding experience this is the film to see.
