Bereamic Awesome Movie
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Benedito Dias Rodrigues When l watched this comedy for first time in 2003 on cable TV l'd rated 7/10 now revisiting movies l pick up Animal and after 14 years l'd change and didn't think the movie like before....Animal is a creative premise to a good comedy basically because this an original story but all others situations and the overkill of Schneider's action really spoiled the movie Apart Edward Asner the cast didn't help to much some cameo appearances is very funny like Norm MacDonald (which l like his work) as man with torch,so this movie is not bad and not so good, but different it really is!!!
capone666 The AnimalThe best animal attribute to have would be pooping outdoors without toilet paper.Surprisingly, that is only one of the beastly abilities bestowed on the cop in this comedy.Born loser Marvin (Rob Schneider) cannot pass the obstacle course it takes to become a police officer until an experimental doctor (Michael Caton) enhances him with parts from the wild kingdom. Enabled with incredible powers, Marvin finally gets that shield and is able to impress a dog-walker (Colleen Haskell). But when random animal attacks occur around town, Marvin suspects that he is leading a double life as a predator. One of the worst Rob Schneider movies of the early-2000s, The Animal's lowbrow laughs and goofball special effects play to the puerile. While the only thing more atrociousness then the jokes is then-reality star Haskell's performance, rivalled only by Schneider's.Moreover, why couldn't he have been imbued with the suicidal tendencies of a lemming?Red Lightvidiotreviews.blogspot.ca
VenturousArtist The concept of this movie is simple: a man named Marvin wants to become a full-time police officer and takes an emergency call that unintentionally leads him to his presumed demise that later turns out to have been prevented by a doctor that converts him into a bizarre experiment where he hosts various personality traits of different animals. So that means regardless what Marvin does in his daily lifestyle, it will both come with advantages and consequences based on his actions that comes from himself and the animals. That both could have been very humorous and functional only if the entire film was written, directed, and portrayed differently. This is another film distributed by Happy Madison that has failed again to bring the most memorable cast member of Saturday Night Live to a comedy presentation that had the chance to become an insanely original classic. Instead, it's a very disjointed and annoyingly patient 'comedy' that doesn't take more risks than time to make the audience feel illuminated by the ridiculous concept.Rob Schneider sadly will always be that one animal everyone tortures. This animal should have been put down for the sake of not salting his wounds.
dobbin-4 I mean this is by no means a fantastic movie but it is an enjoyable movie that I am proud to say takes place in my movie collecting. The movie is about Marvin, a lonely nerd who is not great at his job at the Police Station who, after a car crash gets animal parts making him very skilled. The movie is great to laugh at I think people take movies way to seriously nowadays I mean how can you hate this movie. It is just so damn funny. Overall this movie is funny and is a must watch for Rob Schneider fans and I personally think that if they need to make sequels they need to make a sequel of this movie. I rate this movie 63% for keeping me amused.
