It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,

Shows as "still in production", but this is already on netflix. Right from the beginning, we hear explicit song lyrics and see some diagrams of body parts. This one is NOT for the little ones. Jesús Vázquez wrote, directed, and stars in "El Alien Y Yo", a story about a metal head band who brings in a keyboardist with some special qualities. Co-stars Ines De Tavira (Rita), Paco de la Fuente is "El Alien", and Juan Ugarte as Agus. They become big and successful under the tutoring of "Mr. Gramofono", who has taken them on as their agent. Rita keeps turning to speak to the camera. I thought this kept stopping the action, but I can see why the writer wanted an "artistic" tilt to the story. Of course, all that available money and girls gets in the way of performing, and the fights begin. Its a cute, little story, from Mexico. Predictable but entertaining.
