Reviews
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
ShangLuda Admirable film.
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Borserie it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
umarlateef I loved it What a amazing movie Best acting Ali Zafar , Maya Ali & Faisal Qureshi Ahsan Rahim best directer
hamoodrehman-05460 First of all, I would like to say that this is not an art movie, it is a commercial production and a darn good one. I have always tried to support Pakistani cinema and have watched various movies over the years, most of them seemed to lack something. The best one so far for me was "Khuda Kay Liye". While KKL is still unmatched in storytelling and content, Teefa leads the way in pure entertainment. Where do I begin...the action is at par with any Hollywood movie (this coming from a Hollywood fan), the cinematography was stunning, the comedy was hilarious, the setting of Lahore and Warsaw was absolutely breathtaking, the sound was powerful, the chemistry between the leads Ali and Maya was excellent. Even the dreaded song numbers are great and catchy...for the record, being a Hollywood fan, I have never liked song numbers in movies and I think they are stupid. KKL was a commercial hit even without the song numbers and I think Pakistani movies should go that route. But for some reason, the songs really worked in Teefa and were quite catchy. I saw this movie twice in Houston and am eagerly awaiting the sequel (there is a post-credits scene). I cannot thank all involved enough, especially Ali Zafar, for making this movie and re-establishing my interest in Pakistani cinema. This movie has raised the bar for all local movies.
shafiqkhi What positives this movie has; 1-A good cast, brilliant acting all around, with adorable characters. 2-Beautiful scenery from Lahore and Poland 3-Decent comedy 4-No vulgarity (rare in movies now a days), so you can watch with your family. What goes against this movie; 1-Most of the action scenes are just laughable 2-Music is forgettable, except last song 3-Editing is very poor. Showing different loco-motives/trains in same scene.Conclusion:- a basic/ typical Pakistani formula film with a tiny twist in the end. If you are NOT going to watch a classic movie, you will enjoy it.
qasimjaffery-27255 Pakistan dramas are good, what a fool movie. Once movie is complete why it's not seen by a critics & make correction in it. Pathetic
