In a haunting scene reminiscent of a macabre art installation, a body is found entangled in the fishing nets of Hark & Sea, owned by Hark Reimers who appears to have fought desperately for his life. The murder, strikingly similar to an execution, quickly leads investigators to suspect Martin Reimers, the brother of the deceased who had suffered under his harsh command. Despite her alibi, the young fishing apprentice Ella Brodersen, with her enigmatic aura, draws the intuitive suspicion of lead investigator Jule Zabek.
