TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Lone-Wolf1 This is the craziest B-Movie I have ever seen, and I have seen a great deal of B-Movies.The plot is fairly nonexistent. The movie makes much more sense if you approach it as a dream, just a bunch of random, seemingly disjointed events occurring in some sort of order. For instance, the main character is a goddess, worshiped by her people, but they never explain or show any of her goddess powers and she seems to be injured very easily. In one early scene she inexplicably has to battle her way through a cave full of cardboard boxes with various Boris Karloff style Frankenstein monsters hiding in them. (I think they had a sale at the local Halloween store)She then has to travel across a post-apocalyptic landscape populated with antagonists ranging from Nazi football players who battle over boxes of cereal to psychotic barbarians in pink tutus living in plastic tents.Anyone who considers themselves a connoisseur of B-Movies must watch this film. Basically the movie is so bad, it loops back around to become good again, then loops again to become bad, then FINALLY loops again to become one of the craziest, silliest, and zaniest movies in the history of cinema.
brad-350 I haven't watched this movie in years. I first saw it as a kid on USA up all night and fell in love with the fantasy aspect of it. The movie is a fun movie to watch and I loved it. It takes you from Vampire camps to werewolf camps and is very fascinating.I honestly enjoyed this movie and a couple of times put down it was my favorite movie to watch when asked. This is just one of the fascinated movies played on USA up all night back when that Rhonda Glenn and Gilbery Gotphry used to host it. I wish they would start doing that again. Those were some fun times and this was a great movie to escape in.
Data-1001 I can sit through some pretty cheesy flicks, and I like Sandahl Bergman, but this movie is one of the most horrendous pieces of garbage I've ever been exposed to. I have apparently blocked most of the movie out of my mind, in order to save myself from ever having to remember the worst parts. But I do remember my reaction, which was, "Oh ... my ... gawd. I had no idea that anything could be so bad."Ranks right down there on my "Avoid At Any Costs" movie list, alongside "Little Voice" and "Cattle Annie & Little Britches." Run, do not walk, far away from this film. In fact, run away screaming.
Kierian I must say that I am starting an unfortunate career of following Sandahl Bergman flicks. Don't get me wrong...I've enjoyed what I've seen of Ms. Bergman's acting in Hell comes to Frogtown and in this film She(the book is interesting by the way). As long as you're not looking for anything special it's cool. I personally enjoyed it but I was lynched by the 3 friends I made watch it with me. Especially since the whole movie we were waiting for the plot to resemble anything that the back of the movie box. It never did. There was supposed to be this whole plot about the all powerful "She" falling for a man who might kill her. As far as I can tell there was a woman...who was generally referred to as "She"...and indeed there was a lead male character. But they never so much as looked at each other crosswise. But hey the real reason to watch the movie is ghouls, the god "She"(who has no powers as far as I can tell), the other god they meet who actually has powers and wants to "study" our heroine, the weird dividable guy(my fav)...it's a labyrinth of weirdness. I dug it.
