HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.

Griff Lees Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

Hellmant 'SCORCHED EARTH': Three Stars (Out of Five)A post-apocalyptic sci-fi western, starring Gina Carano as a bounty hunter who hunts down criminals in a climate change ravaged Earth. The movie also costars John Hannah, Ryan Robbins, Dean S. Jagger, Stephanie Bennett, Patrick Sabongui and Patrick Gilmore. It was directed by Peter Howitt, and it was written by Kevin Leeson and Bobby Mort. The film is now available for rent on video and VOD, and I found it to be mildly entertaining. In a future world, mostly destroyed by climate change, the two most valuable commodities are water purifiers and silver (used in breathing masks to survive the polluted air). Driving vehicles is outlawed, and Gage (Carano) works as a bounty hunter that rounds up criminals who break this law (as well as others). Her current target is Thomas Jackson (Robbins), an outlaw who's building a town to protect other criminals like himself. She gets into a lot of trouble, of course, trying to bring him to justice alone. Her friend Doc (Hannah) comes to her aid, and the streets quickly turn to blood.The movie has a great setup, and plot in my opinion. Carano is also an awesome action heroine lead, or at least she can be (like in 2011's 'HAYWIRE'). The film doesn't have a lot of good payoff though, and most of it is pretty dull actually. It's mildly entertaining throughout, but it seems like there was a lot of potential to do so much more with this film. So it's hard to argue that it's not a disappointment, in the very least.

If you liked Mad Max Fury Road then this film delivers copiously.Lead actress and supporting actors are excellent, story is well delivered and the props etc give it a real feel of a future world.You empathise with the characters and their beliefs, the criminals are bad, the goodies are good in a bad way. Tarantino Dusk Until Dawn.I hope they make another. Enjoy it for the great viewing it is and ignore the crap ratings.Leading lady also needs to re-appear.Loved it.

ukrainian-02916 Many people there talking about cheapness and low budget but I did watch the whole film and didn't notice any cheapness. Quite the opposite I saw the interesteed scenario and the memorable characters. I feel sadness when people write bad about this film. Maybe people prefer the other kind of films that I don't prefer. But by their's low ratings of this film people like me will never see the sequel.

applecrunchvape I watched this film the other night and i must say i was surprised at just how much i enjoyed it. It came with a slow start but having watched it i understand why. It reminded me just how human nature would act and turn at a moments notice if one thought their demise would be at the cost of natures doing. absolutely worth a watch. Cage is our heroine in this flick and played well. There are some laughs along the way unexpectedly which gave a breath of fresh air to a dire situation our characters face in this "each for their own" flick. To me she was likable from the start and her doctor friend was equally good. Think the Walking Dead in the later series, just without zombies Thankyou for reading
