TrueJoshNight Truly Dreadful Film
SteinMo What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Kirpianuscus It could be better. it is not only the word of louisejuelc but the profound impression after its end. because it seems be a story without direction. the director do no know what to do with the story, the actors works on a project who could be defined as blank, you see a mix of adventure, friendship, Casanov, childish vice-admiral, a sort of historical movie with desire to be perceved as parody, large slices of humor who do not convince, few scenes who are not sense and dialogues bad made. and, sure, the struggle of cast to save the film. it is a nice film only for good intentions. and, after its end, that does not seems be real enough.
louisejuelc I just watched this movie on DVD and I'm glad I did not go to the cinema to see it. This movie is awful.I understand that it is supposed to be a comedy - and therefor more of a story about Tordenskiold than Tordenskiold's story. But it is not funny. And in the failed attempt of being funny it manages to tarnish the legacy of one of the greatest naval officers who ever lived. It is not the acting - the actors are doing a great job with what they've got to work with. But the script is poorly written and as a viewer I am left with a feeling that something is missing from the story. It is to bad. Because the story of Tordenskiold - and in this case his death - is a story that could have been so much better. One thing I did like was the plot twist at the end ... Never saw that coming ...
