Did you people see the same film I saw?

A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

I was late getting around to seeing this one. Didn't see "The Show" but this movie reminded me of Joe Dirt meets Jackass in that you have a ridiculous character on a verity of adventures and completely crazy antics that absolutely carry this film. It was fun the script was very well written and as I said before making a comedy is one of the hardest movies to make. This one certainly does justice to comedy, threw out the film you never had to think about anything, you can sit back and really enjoy this mindless yet hilarious film. I think the best thing about this film is it's forward momentum and once it gets going it doesn't let up until the end.-Spoiler- My favorite part in the film has to be the first time the English sales man/producer meets Ronnie. The metaphors being used while they are climbing up the scaffolding had me rolling, honestly never laughed so hard at such a silly dialog. What a really funny movie. Not the greatest comedy but not the worst this will be one for my DVD collection. It's a keeper.

I never watched the show and I am from the south - so yes, I can relate to a lot of the stuff they are making fun of.This is one of my favorite comedy movies ever. From the start to finish everything ties in perfectly together. To me it's more like Airplane in style (a goofy plot with tons of hilarious filler). If you like Indi films, or at least "not so mainstream" films that you have to use your mind a little to catch everything then you will like this film.I only rent films but have ended up renting this one 4 times now to show different friends. Might not be the best sober movie, but a few drinks or so will have you ready for the adventure.

This is definitely a funny movie to see if you are from the south. Most people who don't like this movie probably can't relate to it due to cultural differences.Being from Georgia, I see it not so much as spoof on reality shows, but a take on southern culture. Each of the characters in the early parts of the film remind me of people I knew when I was growing up.I also highly suggest taking a "smoke" break before you watch.I find it odd that most seem to prefer Mr. Show, while I think this movie is far funnier.I've also noticed people comparing this movie to "Joe Dirt".While I think "Joe Dirt" is a funnier movie, I don't think it's a fair comparison. If you want to see what being "white trash" is really about "Run Ronnie Run" is a much more accurate portrayal. That coming from someone who grew up in a trailer park in Georgia.

Something strange is happen here, because the lead actors are not famous, but there are so many stars from Hollywood, some of them just appear even only for 5 seconds. Please just check the credits and you will notice.I guess there is a famous director or producer behind, but I cannot recognize it.Some part of this movie is just stupid enough and some of it is hilarious. Actually, it is not such a good movie, but I have a great time, so in an entertainment world, I think this movie keep this promise.Stidy in 30-Dec-04 Buenos Aires, Cap. Fed. Argentina
