SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

Good start, but then it gets ruined

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

This movie(?)compared with "Tropa de Elite" 1 and 2 is like compare safety in Switzerland and Brazil. The movie has a basic and emotionless plot.Sound editing is amateur(like the movie, though). The acting, despite low budget, isn't the worst of this movie, being characters like Tenente Nunes and Alemão best example. It's obvious that ROTA Commando is like a consequence and use of movie "Tropa de Elite" success and it's a shame not give to ROTA from São Paulo (a equally high and brave elite Police)the same treatment given to BOPE from Rio de Janeiro.I give it 4 for the effort of some actors and the knowledge about this Elite Police.

Rota Commando has a good script and it's a very entertaining film. I couldn't believe when I saw the 4.2 rate, but then I noticed that only 32 viewers had rated this movie. It's a story told from the point of view of a policeman, it's based on his book, so it's not surprising that the movie is not focused in the abuses committed by the Brazilian security forces, which are quite spread in the news and social networks. Maybe this is a reason to the so low IMDb rating since it glorifies that specific police work. The main flaw of the film is the terrible sound, sometimes too high and sometimes too low, but this is in a way understandable, since it's an independent production. The acting, IN SOME SITUATIONS, is also not so good. All in all, it's a good movie and I rate it 8.
