Dreadfully Boring

What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

Macbeth on a Rave ? Well, that definitely is weird...but it works ! "Rave Macbeth" effortlessly manages to bridge the gap between Shakespeare's medieval Scotland and today's Techno scene, and, while radically disposing of 16th century's language, it not only sticks to the plot as close as possible, it also brings about a part of the original's atmosphere. This special atmosphere is in no way spoilt, but underlined by the psychedelic effects and the fitfully selected House and Trance tracks. It is, in short, the greatness of one of Shakespeare's best Dramas, combined with the emotional density of a Rave. Altogether, the background was in my opinion adapted much better and in a much more creative way than, e.g., in "Romeo and Juliet". Of course, there are little flaws in plot and design, and this may not be the best movie of the year, but it certainly is the most innovative one I have seen so far, and it is definitely worth seeing.

This movie indeed is remarkable for several reasons. First of all that it was managed to set Shekespeare´s old drama "Macbeth" in our time. I admit that this has worked in quite a couple of movies before. Besides it is really close to the original script, except for a few details (for example the killing of Dean/the king who is originally killed shortly after taking Marcus/Macbeth as his aid). But what is really extraordinary is - in my view - the idea to set the drama in the rave/techno scene and let the whole story take place in only a few hours. And by the way, this is the first rave-movie have ever seen and heard of. Thats the first reason why I have decided to watch it, the second one is that the movie was shot in an existing club in Munich I happen to go to from time to time. The only thing I regret is that there was not more tension. But that might be excused by the fact that Shakespeare´s Macbeth is a drama and not a Hollywood-made action thriller which was remade. So much to my view of Rave Macbeth, a different sort of movie. I can only recommend to see it, especially those who know Macbeth and also like this kind of music.
