Reviews
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
FrogGlace In other words, this film is a surreal ride.
Derry Herrera Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Torgo_Approves (r#63)I never really got the point of these short films. At least the feature films had some kind of plot - these shorts seem more about showcasing as many new Pokémon as possible for the children to gawk at than any actual story or point. Still, it's fairly well animated (meaning it's about as good as the TV show) and the new monsters are cool if you're a Pokémon nut (which I admittedly was as a kid... shame on me).Pikachu meets his baby selves, two Pichu brothers (clever eh?). They eventually get lost in the big city and hilarious Pokémon hijinks ensue. My favourite Pokémon in this short is easily the dirty-mouthed one with a paintbrush for a tail. I swear he clearly uttered the words "shut the f**k up" as he came to the Pichus' rescue. Is this stuff really for kids?
