Monster High: Escape from Skull Shores Trailers

It's officially Spring Break at Monster High, and Lagoona takes her gilfriends across the sea to the Great Barrier Reef, but they are ship wrecked and end up on a mysterious skull shaped island. Here they enjoy the local hospitality until they realize that they are being used by a slippery showman named Farnum to lure the rarest, most mysterious monster of them all, "the Beast" into a trap. Frankie is taken by the Beast but tables turn and she ends up rescuing him and returning with him to Monster High. The story goes to high voltage when they realize that Frankie has inadvertently led Farnum to the location of the greatest gathering of monsters anywhere...Monster High.

Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) There is nothing really bad about this film, but there also isn't a single aspect that makes this movie worth the watch or particularly memorable. We are in a great era for animated films right now with Pixar being top of the really strong competition, but with much quantity, there's also always films that do not deliver. "Escape from Skull Shores" is one of these. I see there are more of these "Monster High" movies that run for under an hour and this one here is the first I saw. And because of the lack of quality, it's probably also the last. The animation is really mediocre, in terms of characters, but also setting. The story is never convincing in terms of romance, drama and, the worst, comedy. I never thought this was a funny movie and there wasn't a single scene that had me laugh. I see that this is a film primarily aimed at teenage girls, but this is not a movie that the next generation of cinephiles should grow up with watching. Not recommended.
