Michael Jackson: Live in Bucharest - The Dangerous Tour Trailers

Michael Jackson's "Dangerous Tour" still sets the bar high for every touring artist today. Outdoing himself with the "Bad Tour", which was already considered the ultimate, the gigantic stage setting consisting of 20 trucks and a lavish arsenal of personnel took almost three days to set up - that alone is a logistical superlative for a worldwide tour with 69 concert stops and 3.5 million fans. The highlights of the show included pyrotechnic effects, several stage illusions and a stuntman. True to his aim of spreading love around the world, Jackson donated the proceeds from the tour (over $100 million) to charity. On October 1, 1992, the image and sound recordings that are hotly sought after by Jackson fans around the world were also made. The concert recording, which was broadcast on the HBO channel, picked up in 60 countries and also transmitted by countless radio stations, still inspires people around the globe.

Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Konterr Brilliant and touching
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Mike B This is High Energy. It has everything – performance, dance, music. It's really entertaining!! I am not a big Michael Jackson fan but this proved to me what a great performer he was and why he had so many dedicated fans who loved him. This performance takes place in Bucharest in 1992 and Michael was in tremendous shape. He must have lost weight during this – its very physical and non-stop dance. All his great songs are in this - Thriller, Beat It and the incomparable Billie Jean with the moon walk. I also really liked Man in the Mirror – one of his songs with good meaning and well intentioned. What a Show!! If you see one movie of Michael Jackson choose this one.
Riggs_666 I was fortunate enough to see Michael Jackson on the Dangerous Tour and History Tours. I vividly remember recording (and still own) the original broadcast of this show. They have overdubbed a lot of vocals onto this DVD, especially on Jam, where he very obviously lip synced. 'hee hees' and 'ho's' have been added to this DVD, where they are not present on the original broadcast. Also, and lord knows why, there are now loads of gratuitous shots of fans passing out and being dragged away, which WERE NOT on original broadcastGreat concert, great performer, slightly dodgy DVD
DangerousMJ This was a very nice concert by the one and only MJ. The choreography was excellent and the costumes were decent. The vocals were okay. i have to admit that his vocals were crap on Human Nature and Billie Jean. You couldn't hear him half the time. The other songs make up for the singing. The Highlights of the show are: Jam Smooth Criminal I Just Can't Stop Loving You She's Out Of My Life Thriller Billie Jean (The Dancing Not The Singing) Black or White Man in the Mirror The concert was almost perfect. If it was anybody but Mj it would have been a 9. It is a must see. I wish I was born then so I could have gotten a ticket to the best concert of 1992.
adam_g_2003 Michael Jackson Live in Bucharest is perhaps the best concert from the 1990's to ever surface. After giving HBO massive ratings, and then again on subsequent channels around the world, it was only inevitable that it would have to get a DVD release sooner or later.Included on the DVD are some of Michael's biggest hits, ranging from Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It to Man In The Mirror. The concert begins with something called "The Toaster Entrance" this hit headlines around the world, as it saw Michael being catapulted onto the stage to a massive ovation, to start off with the song Jam.This possibly is the most amazing mix of Choreography and singing that goes together so well, that you will get goose-bumps just watching Michael's presence on stage. The most annoying parts of the concert, would have to be the crowd shots, i mean why buy a concert to see those amazing dance moves in action, only to be shown shots of girls fainting and crying.Fan or Not, just about anyone will like this concert, as it documents Michael at his highest peak. Either-way it's a great thing to check out.
