GUENOT PHILIPPE For those who don't know the whole story, this TV series is the following of another one named CORLEONE, which talked about the life, rise and fall of Toto Rina, the famous Sicilian Mafia leader whose the successor was Bernardo Provenzano, played here by the tremendous Michele Placido, very used to Mafia flicks. Remember him as the policeman in the worldwide known OCTOPUSS series, or as another mafia man in PIZZA CONNECTION. This is of course an authentic tale, in the line of the previous show CORLEONE. Who, better than the Italian, can make mafia films? Who? The GODFATHER was an American film, but directed by an Italian descent film maker. Settings here are outstanding, the same for the acting and editing. If you crave for mafia tales, don't miss this one. At any cost.
