The oddness comes from some rather poor improvising and the odd casting of Tim Plester (or maybe it is just the glasses he wears). The film is worth your attention for a really very good performance by Georgia Maguire - she carries the film. It is also worth your attention because it is British and tries to explore real emotions and vulnerabilities.
