Las cajas españolas Trailers

During the Spanish Civil War, the Republican government created the Board of Artistic Treasure Defense, in order to preserve the works of the Prado Museum and prevent them from being destroyed during the war. The film reconstructs the events and the route of these works of art, since they were packed in a total of 1,868 boxes until his arrival in Geneva. There a Committee for the Safeguarding of the Spanish Treasury was established, and the boxes guarded until their return to the museum, in September 9, 1939.

Reviews
LastingAware The greatest movie ever!
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
sklarfield I saw this movie at one in the morning in Argentina on TV. It was so fascinating that I couldn't sleep. I didn't see it from the beginning so I thought that the images were authentic(The film is filmed as if it was a documentary form the time of the Spanish civil war). But it The style, which could have easily been ugly or comedic, but was engaging, turned the movie form a tribute to those brave Spanish artists and poets to a manifestation of all the feelings that went into the war, the situation the second republic was in, the tragedy of it's fall, and more than anything else, the commitment, struggle, suffering and bravery of the ordinary people during the time of war.
