Better Late Then Never
Lidia Draper
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

This is one of the far best movies from Sweden this year. It has it all, love, tension and humor. The characters are well-casted, especially Kjell Bergqvist and Rebecka Plymholt. The film is loosely based on the wonderful books of Pia Hagmar, one of the most famous child authors in Sweden. The only flaw I can find is that the dialog sometimes feel a bit too much of cliché. Even though I really like the film, I liked the books even better. And all those who loved the film will love the books even more. Probably there will come a sequel next year and I already look forward to it.
