TC-Batsy Kit Kat is one of the few films in contemporary Egypt that sheds light on the lives of people living in the slums and what are their dreams and problems. Sheikh Hosny who was portrayed by Mahmoud Abdel Aziz in one of his best roles ever, is a blind man who doesn't pay attention to his disability and enjoys life in many ways including riding a motorcycle on his own! His son Youssef is an unemployed university graduate who wishes to go to Europe to earn his living and he is in a relationship with a divorced woman. This film can make laugh and cry and I personally give it 10 stars for its great screenplay and cast of actors.
webmaster_khaledabolnaga Very few movies can do that to the audience, makes you want to Cry and laugh at the same time, If you speak the Language (Arabic) you are lucky to catch the amazing simplicity yet genius dialogue, if not, even with no subtitles foreign audiences got totally immersed in the plot. The Blind Sheikh "Hosny" (played by "Mahmoud Abdel Aziz" at his best here) is in total denial throughout the movie of his handicap. He even ends up riding a motor bike and causing a mess, physical to him and emotional to the audience. A great Timeless movie, Its a Must see.
