Reviews
Diagonaldi Very well executed
Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Supelice Dreadfully Boring
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
silvan-desouza Rakesh Roshan got more success as a director then actor The film tells the story of how good friends become eniemies The story spans 2 generationsIt starts with late 40 actors(of 80's) Jeetendra and Shatrughan Sinha playing friends and some portions depicting their friendship is crude The story is predictable though but well handled Their break up in their friendship is well handled while the second half shows how their respective children fall in love with each other The film does have some unwanted comedy scenes and some overdone dramaThe film is well directed by Rakesh Roshan Music is good tooAmongst actors Jeetendra does his part well and is subtle here though he and Shatru look too old in initial portions Shatrughan Sinha does his Bihari act well though he overdoes at times Kader Khan does his usual comedy Amongst heroines Bhanupriya is okay, Amrita Singh is alright too Sushma Seth looks too young to play Shatru's mother Kiran Kumar gives a subtle performance Saeed Jaffrey is okay Govinda does a good job though he has come a long way Neelam is adequate
Liakot Ali Director Rakesh Roshan made his debut with this Big Hit Movie. This was a simple tale about friendship that turns into rage. That sounds kind of repeated and boring, but the movie does entertain. There have been many Hit Movies based on friendship Sholay, Yaarana, Dosti friends Forever. Khudgarz was a wonderful heart warming film. I have never been a fan of Jeetendra and Shutrungh Sinha and was not keen on this film. It cam on Sky a few years back and i had nothing else to watch so i went for it. It was a good thing i did, cos i know have the movie at home. Jeetendra gives the Best performance of his career, better then his other Hits Himmatwala, Justice Choudhury and Mawaali. Shutrungh Sinha's Best Role after his character in Kala Pathhar. Govinda and Neelam are hardly there. Amrita is good as usual. Bhanu Priya, the good looking actress has less scope. Anyway, this is worth the watch.
mgbolagun this is perhaps the most superb starrer of jeetu and shatrughan sinha. this movie displays a thoroughly written script, excellent directorial exploits and superb acting by the 2 major stars, their actresses and others.i really enjoy the crude interplays between jeetu and sinha. seeing best of friends becoming overnight enemies with hatred grown to the level of destroy the other party is alarming. interestingly, they put up excellent acting.rakesh roshan settles down to write the Hollywood version of cain & abel in the bollywood way. he deserves every commendation in the way he exploits every bit of the script to suit bollywood masala.khudgarz shows the high intellectual displays of the director, producer, script-writer and all the actors. kudos to all of them.
