Perfectly adorable
Teddie Blake
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Roman Sampson
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
Brooklynn
There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

You keep sitting there just WONDERING what this crazy, hysterical Hindu lady is gonna do...heh.The thought LITERALLY running through your mind is, "Uh-oh! Crazy Hindu Lady! Look out!" through the whole short film. lol The straight boy just keeps PUSHING her (literally and metaphorically) and she just keeps LOSING it and smacking the crud out of him! (laugh) And he DESERVES IT! You aren't sure if the little voice in your head chanting, "Yeah! Kill the animal!" is you or an echo of the Crazy Hindu Lady.... (smirk) And then that wonderful moment where mom just settles down in the poolside lounger and simply closes her eyes... Will she let the straight boy, animal that he is, DROWN? Will she REALLY??? LOL Wonderfully done, very superb short film. :)

An Indian boy is beaten up in high school because he's gay. His mother finds out and storms over to the house of the white kid who started it all. He's home alone and refuses to apologize for what he did. But you NEVER get an Indian mother mad. It escalates into a pretty violent but funny battle.I wasn't quite sure what to make of this at first. The humor IS pretty dark and violence is not funny. But it's so over the top and (pretty obviously) faked that I was laughing myself silly by the end. The acting is excellent all around and it has a fun script. The ending is a little bit of a let down but everything before it is so good. A 9.

Screamingly funny short. Santosh is in gym class and peeking as hunky Peter comes out of the shower. Santosh is embarrassed, but thinks he was not caught. As he's at his locker getting changed, Peter attacks, pins him down, and writes rude comments all over his body. Meanwhile, Santosh's mother, Kali Ma (a huge woman), is in the kitchen making an elaborate Indian mean while singing and dancing to a Bollywood soundtrack. Santosh comes home and goes right up to his room, refusing to eat. Ma goes up to his bedroom to see what's wrong, finds Santosh cowering in the closet, sees that he's bruised and marked up, and finds out who did it. Then, Kali Ma goes out for revenge. After a program of rather serious shorts, this movie was such a relief and had everyone laughing loudly. Nice production values, good funny acting. Also, the director and handsome and articulate and I hope he goes on to bigger projects.
