It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

I stumbled upon this stand-up comedy special on Netflix, and I wasn't familiar with the comedian, so I decided to give it a go nonetheless. It turns out that Jim Norton's sense of comedy was somewhat, nay a lot different than mine because this was mostly just below-the-belt jokes, which is so very 1990s for the stand-up comedy scene. It had all been done before and by now sex jokes are just not that funny any more, at least not to me. So I must admit that I didn't particularly enjoy most of this stand-up comedy show. I am not a prude or anything, but sex jokes is just so cliché for this genre. With this show watched, then I can't really claim that I wasn't particularly impressed with the comedy talent of Jim Norton. There are far better stand-up shows available out there. And if you are new to stand-up shows, then "Jim Norton: Mouthful of Shame" is not suitable for a proper introduction to the genre.

All in all pretty cringe worthy American humor at its worst. These guys should stick to talking with themselves in a bar or their dusty basement sofa. They do not belong on a stage. It's awkward to sit through because the jokes aren't really laugh-out-loud funny by any means and it moves super slow. The guys seem like cool guys but I didn't want to sit and watch them finish each other's sentences over and over again while they swayed back and forth and putted around the stage awkwardly. Nothing 2 entertaining to watch.

his newest special disappointed me. It deserves a 5 out of 10 because it was funny and witty about 50% of the time. The other 50% was a mixture of political talking points and misinformed scientific facts. I did laugh out loud a few times but the majority of jokes were poorly written, especially by her standards. I think I counted around 5 complex joke premises, all of which were very well executed, but the rest fell flat.

Sorry, I've been a stand-up comedy addict since the Catch a Rising Stars days. The last thing comics go to when desperate for laughs is sex. Always a crowed pleaser. Unfortunately, you go there over-and-over again. Wish you the best of luck. I realize how hard stand-up comedy is and respect you for your work. I think you can do better.
