At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

Years ago, there used to be a show in Jeevan TV called "Interval". At a time when Malayalam channels were crammed with reality shows and TV serials, "Interval" stood out. The show was witty and fun to watch with a lot of jokes that cracked up the viewers. But the show didn't last long and was stopped abruptly. I was still in my school years and it made me sad.Fast forward a few years. Nobody recommended me this film. I never even knew about its theatrical release. I saw it when the DVDs rolled out. And suddenly, the hero... the events shown in the movie...everything looked familiar. "Wait...Haven't I seen it all before?" And the flashbacks came rolling in. I was genuinely thrilled! The movie shows a young guy ho is passionate about movies and his struggles in real life. It's a story about friendship, betrayals, emotions.I don't know if the real reason for the "Interval" to stop is the same as shown in the movie. But nevertheless, it is a decent entertainer for even the people who never watched the "Interval". Highly recommended.
