At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

The divorced woman of Finnish heritage. Her children doesn't like her much, her co-workers at hospital are not fond of her and the patients ungrateful. A sad lady who meets this man who has been married four times and have countless of children in different ages. But the story takes another path. Friendship can be unexpected and so does one of the most hated words today (or yesterday) which is solidarity. No deep thoughts here and no deep feelings. Not for audiences anyway, but heart-warming in the good not sentimental sense. Swedish countryside according to prejudice. Nice prejudice.
