Successful documentary filmmaker Solveig Melkeraaen suffers a heavy clinical depression. Treatment with electroshock therapy helps her, but when she falls into a second depression, she has to accept that being perfect is not an option. A feelgood film on depression.

Reviews
PlatinumRead Just so...so bad
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Tobias Burrows It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Cristal The movie really just wants to entertain people.
OJT Solveig Melkeraaen uses herself to all extent in this documentary, which tells about her life story since she was a promising short film maker, until she struggles with depression, suicide thoughts, and goes through electric shock therapy. Her deep and serious depression is the main theme, and we see her asking questions to her family and friends, as well as follow her treatment, even having electrical shock therapy. The film has got quite a lot of critical acclaim in Norway. One could from this expect this to bad a sad or even tragic film, but the film both is funny and very explaining and hopeful. The film is very self delivering, and as such quite unique when it comes to psychological depression issues.I found the film interesting, and well made about a difficult subject. A daring and interesting project.
