patrickwalsh-48145 I knew that General Marshall made great contributions to our nation, our people, and to the world. I did not know just how extraordinary and world-changing his contributions were, nor how far ahead of his time he was in his visionary thinking and perspective. But what is most inspiring and humbling is his humanity, his decency, and his great humility. His service to our country and to the world should be commemorated and never forgotten. But just as great as his world-saving contributions, was his example as a human being, who served his fellow man, and who made himself content to accept the roles that God placed him in, even when he desired others, demonstrating that by accepting His will, he also enabled the grand design for his life to be revealed, and the great Destiny planned for him, and for the World, to be revealed...
