Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

Skyler Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

scottie1954 I am a big fan of Wesley Snipes, and I watched this because he was in it. I thought it had to be a good movie because Wesley Snipes was in it, but this is one of the worst movies I have ever watched. No plot, no story line, and bad acting. I thought that at least Wesley Snipes would make it some what watchable, but his presence did nothing to enhance this movie. I keep watching knowing it would get better after a slow start, but this was not the case. Horrible, do not waste your time.

Spikeopath Tis one of the toughest things in film making to tackle, that of the western/horror hybrid. Here things are further complicated by some sort of attempt to add Gothic leanings and fantastical surrealism. Sadly nothing in the whole film works, it's a collage of botched ideas performed poorly by cast and technical crew alike.Plot, the attempt at one as such, pitches Wesley Snipes' dreadlocks spirit walker type on a revenge mission to eradicate the undead - who once as humans raped his loved one. Lots of strands are dangled within, flashbacks upon flashbacks, time shifts and characterisation distortions, all set to a parched wild west backdrop. There's plenty of blood dripped onto the corn but the corn is still corny, while the whole thing is a misogynists wet dream. Production design is decent, with the slaughterhouse sequences - and the costume design - better than average, and Snipes remains cool even if he surely knows he's in a very poor movie.But ultimately this is very much one to avoid. 2/10

Harold Austin WARNING: THIS REVIEW MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS...Back in the 90's, Wesley Snipes could do no wrong. He was an action star headlining major Blockbusters like Passenger 57, Demolition Man, and Rising Sun to name a few... Somewhere along the line, it all started to go downhill and in my opinion, it started with the Blade franchise. By the third Marvel entry, Snipes was demoted to a co-star, the film killed the franchise, and that was the last studio film we saw Snipes release. What followed were a string of low budget, overseas action films like Unstoppable, Art of War 2, and Game of Death. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed most of them for what they were and I'm a huge fan of Snipes, so when I first heard of Gallowwalkers, I got really excited. I mean the premise was killer. A gunfighter killing the undead... What could go wrong? It turns out... Everything... The film sat on the shelf for 5 years and I finally watched it after all that time. While there were moments of "what could have been", the film was certainly dismal at best. My biggest problem with the film is that it certainly had the resources to be great, sweeping deserts, sets that were built by hand, great wardrobe, great locations... The only problem was the story felt very botched and most of what is seen in the film seemed to be footage that was shot to fill up the running time and Mr. Snipes, as good as he was in the parts he was in, wasn't present enough throughout to keep the viewer interested. (I'm assuming this is due to his legal troubles at the time). The story generally followed a younger apprentice and a bunch of odd characters. As I said, it's worth a watch if you need to kill some time or you're just a hardcore Snipes fan like me, but if you're looking for something edgy and intriguing, this is not it. I give it a 4 out of 10.

They only ask questions. who thought it was a good idea to have one guy alien tentacles for heads? how did 17 million dollars turn into this... Who was Wesley Snipes talking to in the sky? How could that Freddy vs. Jason/shrek/goonies lookin thing get guillotined grow back his head, then die from a rock. I laughed my ass off.....but only from stupid geniousness. Why didn't every skinless be called skinless because they had higher ranking for like the gallowwalker army of enoch. whatever an enoch even is. obviously that was never explained. Tits were a plus...needed more dialogue, clever witty statements, and way more discretion on casting, and plot story. The horsemen weren't even riding a horses, and didn't even rape his girlfriend why are they even relevant. Why not explain what happened in the beginning of the movie instead of waiting halfway. 2/10 (Blade, you gotta read for better scripts c'mon now)
