SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

This year's special was very good and included things from other nearby cultures. All the artist were great. Including Alejandro Fernandez, Danny Rivera and Ednita Nazario. I missed Ricky Martin and I hope he someday participates as he used to in previous years. I also forgot to mention that the Coro de Niños de Ponce also participated as well as Quique Domenech. The starting presentation reminded me of by grandmother's house in Orocovis. It gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. Thank you Banco Popular for it. I will treasure it and it will last a lot of years as I purchased it on DVD. The only place I have found that still has them available is at musicaboricua.com

EN MI PAIS (IN MY COUNTRY).... This is one of the best productions in the Banco Popular de Puerto Rico Christmas specials series. In this special, the Puerto Rican musicians and their guests present the classic Christmas traditions of Puerto Rico. The music, all in Spanish, presents a wide range of musical styles in the Latin genre. Old and classic standards are brought up to date by Latin musicians from throughout the world. The special was filmed in Aguirre, Puerto Rico. Aguirre is a village of Salinas, Puerto Rico, and was once home to a sugar mill. This is a true Christmas special. Several of the songs in this video controlled the radio-waves in Puerto Rico, Florida, and New York in 2004/2005. A must own for the serious collector of Latin music!!!!
