Duyung tells the tale of a young man named Jimmy who has this habit of taking care of the environment. He also has a weird habit which is not well received by the other villagers. Jimmy befriends Orix an apeman species. Quietly he developes this feeling for Aspalela the daughter of Tok Mudim the leader of the villager.

mohdaqif Duyung is my favorite film of 2008. Their chemistry between Saiful Apek and Maya Karin was awesome. The underwater scenes look beautiful, the entire village in Sabah look beautiful too. The cinematography looks great as well. This movie is released 10 years ago.
