Reviews
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Kelly David Hewlett's avant-garde space age concept movie is a bit odd. Not my normal cup of tea but I watched it all the way through. High point for me was Momoa's mesmerizing appearance as a devilish, male version of a temptress. Between Momoa's magnetism and the character's hypnotic appeal the girl didn't have a chance. 5 stars for Hewlett's imagination. 6 stars for Momoa's seductive performance.
siderite The problem with the movie was that it was ultimately boring. The characters were cardboard, the story predictable and uninteresting. Yet it wasn't a totally bad film, considering high production value and decent acting. The white interiors with white light coming from everywhere and sharp font texts reminiscent of the iPhone design and the impossibly beautiful actors did not help what was supposed to be a horror environment. So when it fails on the horror level and on the story level, you can't have a good movie.Bottom line: this film had all the resources and potential to be a good sci-fi movie, but they went in the direction of mass produced horror scripts instead, which makes no sense from a creative perspective. It's like a rogue program trying to pass up as real art.
Roed Trillo Tahil The movie was okay. I do not have high expectations anyway. It is a kind of movie that you just play while you do something else. But I always press MUTE every time Jadyn Wong would talk. She has a voice that makes you wanna smack her face just to shut her up. I think it was because her jumpsuit was too tight. She forces her character to act "tough" but it just made me laugh because her voice contradicts her "tough" act. I just wanted her killed so that I won't hear her talk. When it did happen, I was utterly relieved. Overall, the movie was nice for a low-budget sci-fi movie. Just wished they did not hire Jadyn Wong for the part though. Again, her voice was annoying.
kosmasp Though fun might not be the right word for it. Still if you have a thing for Science Fiction movies and do not mind, if they are low budget and filled with some gore and plenty of action. It also features very bad character decision and some questionable acting. But it's all in the fun of it (if you're having it, that is).Actually the set design is not that bad for the money had. The blood and general special effects are more than decent too. You can see where this is going (in contrast to some of the characters and their very poor choices, but then again, they were criminals, more or less), so no surprises there. But the movie is done nicely and it is entertaining most of the time
