Reviews
Matcollis This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
bettycjung 2/2/18. I usually like Madea movies, but this one was just awful. Halloween was only a side story for the 17 year old spoiled brat. It was more of a senior complain-fest about how to better parent a girl of divorced parents. Skip it.
pekinpom This has to be the worst movie Tyler Perry has made so far. I wasn't that crazy about his first Halloween movie, but this was terrible. I fast forwarded it the first 38 minutes because it was so boring. And no one really wants to watch Tiffany. There was no horror, I was hoping something scary was going to happen when the supposed murderer came out of the water, when Hattie's in the outhouse, but nothing happened. Even with all of them being stranded in the house was boring. If there's going to be a Boo 3, PLEASE hire someone who has experience with horror so at least we can let out a real scream. The movie doesn't stay with any scene long enough for any one to get scared or really interested in what's happening. Come on, it really wasn't very funny. I know it made a lot of money, but that before word got out on how bad it was. I love Tyler Perry, but, for what ever reason his Madea Halloween movies just don't stand up to his usual movies.
shortstella Spoiler: I watched this movie the other day. The part I didn't like is when Joe was in the car with Leah at the camp. And Joe asked her if she was a minor and she said she was. Then he made a sexual remark. That wasn't cool. Overall this movie was funny, but Madea isn't as funny as Hattie. Hattie cracks me up.
Erik Sheedlo OK, when are people who think Madea is funny going to wake up and see this is just a bad story, writing, directing and acting all in one movie. I would have preferred to watch 10 hours straight of PBS, just so I can get back whatever brain cells were sucked out while having to sit through this debacle. It was not funny!! The actors were one dimensional. The jokes were either sexist or racist. The plot was stupid. Take my advice, stay away from Perry's movies. He has become one of the bloated, bad directors that Hollywood should be ashamed of and they should be ashamed for ever making these types of movies. With so many good choices in steaming, cable and other movies it is hard to believe people would go to this heap of a movie. By the way, the only reason we went is we got free passes and it was still a rip off!!
