Reviews
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Jayden-Lee Thomson One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Monique One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
all-rise Innovative structure, big energy inspiration, phenomenal editing. The directors avoid the usual formulas and tropes analyzing the industry and investigating it's dark underbelly. They also don't get defensive about Bollywood's reputation in comparison to Hollywood. They just celebrate the outrageous spectacle and weave their own story from clips of Bollywood's best films. If you know India then you will see the history of the country through clever, symbolic editing. If you don't know India, then you will get a one stop montage tour through the best of its cinema. Watch for the subtext because though it may just seem aesthetic, the clips are very intentional in their chronology and assembly.
