Ameriatch One of the best films i have seen
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Griff Lees Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Prashast Singh Badrinath - this film became so popular that I failed to resist myself from watching this film. I thought the film to be good, but it is more than good-excellent!Badri (Allu Arjun) is a warrior assigned to protect the Badrinath temple under the guidance of martial arts and spiritual guru Bhishma (Prakash Raj). But one day,the guru starts to doubt Badri when Alakananda(Tamannaah), who starts to love Badri, walks in that temple with his grandfather. The rest of the story is about how Badri saves Alakananda from her ruthless uncle and wins her and Guru Bhishma Narayan. The story-screenplay and direction by V.V.Vinayak is excellent. The performances by Allu Arjun,Tamannaah and others are also praiseworthy. The music by Keeravani and VFX by Makuta VFX is excellent. The locations, cinematography are also a masterpiece. The action sequences by Peter Heins are mind blowing! The production by Geetha Arts is also very good. The application of warrior concept in the modern day is fantastic. On the whole, Badrinath is a solid entertainer that will establish Allu Arjun as a mass hero and will entertain everyone. A must watch for all!!!!
Avinash Patalay The writing on the wall is clear: the mega success & ringing cash- registers of "Magadheera" has prompted the makers to attempt "Badarinath". Sadly none in the production team cared less to deliver a good Chandamama story. Everyone seems to be blinded by the glitter and gloss of the production values that results in a soulless pot boiler called "Badrinath".Allu Aravind has put in lots of effort especially in the action sequences. Sadly he should have concentrated on his performance too. Tamanna plays as usual the glam-doll, a stereo type character she prefers.Prakash Raj is loud. Kelly Dorjee & Ashwini Kalsekar are passable. The plot opens up with lots of promise but sadly loses it steam as it chugs along and passes through the predictable path offering nothing new to the audience in terms of novelty."Magadheera" was a game-changer. It awakened the mythological sentiments which was lying dormant in the Telugu audience. And certainly the credit goes to the unstinted effort poured by Rajamouli. V V Vinayak clearly has a long way to go before he can make a mark for himself.
Sharan S Badrinath is something I never expected. Allu Arjun decides to earn the respect Ram Charan Teja earned for Magadheera and he whips out a sword and kills 100s of goondas. Not just that, his character is made of a stylish personality and a god-fearing priest who's heading an ancient rivalry. How do you blend 2 poles in one? Make up your freakin' mind guys! Badrinath is unbelievably ridiculous that at one point, all we crave for is Tamanna's skimpy clothing.Although she appears in very limited scenes (this being an Allu Arjun film), she provides her gracious charm in the given scenes. The songs were good and have been shot extensively around Tamanna and her slightly-chubby waistline. I wonder if sex & violence alone can sell more than a reasonable storyline? If Badrinath sold well to audiences, the promise of a better future to sensible Indian Cinema is almost over. P.S. In case you're thinking on watching the film for the 3 songs featuring Tamanna's slightly-chubby waistline, watch it on youtube. Save your money!
k-rajeev197 great disappointment for the fans who awaited the movie.Didn't reach the expectations, but can watch the film just for arjun's dance & fights.people will chant the mantra of god while watching the film.Locations are fantastic.the second half of the movie doesn't have any story and is filled with songs..comedy is good.characterization of tamanna is not OK.screenplay of the movie was a major drawback.so finally the movie can be just seen once and we have to wait for another good movie from allu arjun.the plus points of the movie are Locations, settings of the god temple, dance, fights, comedy.the minus points are weak screenplay, story, situation less songs...etc...,
