What a beautiful movie!

Horrible, fascist and poorly acted

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.

The movie was excellent. Songs and BGM were also good in the movie. This is one of the Best Movie of Vikram and Shankar. Vikram acting was superb in the movie.

This is copy of 7 and Psycho. But never mind director has made lot of difference from the conventional Tamil movies. The concept is new. But the stupid way of film making remains still the same. Most stunts taken from Matrix, Spider man...etcBetter not see if you are looking for a Valuable movieMust see if you are a native of Tamil Nada.Must not see if you are a fan of Sankar Must see if you are fan of VickramMust see if you are looking for Petr Han Must not see if you haven't got Enough Money

The movie is absolutely fantastic. One just has to switch off any logical thinking and enjoy every single aspect of the movie, every single scene, every song... But first things first. "Anniyan" has been the first movie in which I have seen Vikram. I must honestly say that there are very few chameleon-like actors in this world, but he is definitely one of them. Watching him act gives nothing but pleasure. The characters he portrays are so different from one another that I had problems believing it was the same person. Ambi was such a nut head. Really irritated me. Anniyan - uh, those noodles in front of the camera every time we've been given "Anniyan's perspective"... But my heart was stolen by Remo (...ramp walk Remo... ;) ). Sadha is beautiful. And she acts stupendously, but what really caught my attention was the way she moved and danced. In "Iyengaaru Veetu" she is so amazingly graceful... Now, the music - very good. 3 out of five songs are now on the list of my favourites, the other 2 are also very good. Filmmakers have made an excellent move by giving each character a specific style. And so Ambi, who is very up-tight and strict will have traditional lay out and Remo who's a "sexy model" { ;) } will have a more contemporary look. The music itself also reflects the distinction between them. Then there is "Adangkaka" but not wanting to give to much of the plot away, I'll just write that it's an energetic track - one of the parties' all time favourites (along with "Remo" and "Nokia"). The plot itself may not strike with originality, however the way the storyline is lead, the tiny details that the director put in there made me wonder "what's gonna happen next?". So, all things consider I give it a full 10. "Anniyan" is a movie to entertain - it's not to educate (although I know some people are trying to give it this function), it was made to entertain, to give fun and to leave the viewer with he's mouth open. With me it worked... More than once.

I have seen the movie and understood the concept that has been dealt with by the director. Though I would say any movie is the ideas of the story , screenplay writer and the director that are imposed on the public as a commercial venture. This movie has definitely a clear message to the world ,may not be regarding removing the corruption by the deeds of the Anniyan, but by and large several patients with Multiple Personality disorders and their attendants would at least venture to undertake treatment. The way the characters have been handled by the director including the co-operation by the patient with the psychiatrist is good. The story line more or less is the same as that of Sydney Sheldons Tell me your dreams where the author based on a real story deals with 4 to 5 characters in the lead women .Khudos to vikram for portraying such an impressive and effective performance in the movie even kamal has not tried such intense roles.I have a good real story with me if anybody is interested in using the concept It is about the true suffering of one such victim of neglected childhood or victim of any disastershyam kas
