Anjaana anjaani is one movie i would recommend people to see , i am few of those who seldomly watch Hindi titles , but this one had one of the greatest songs on air. The actors priyanka chopra and ranbir kapoor have played their best roles as yet in the movie. Priyanka of course has evolved as a great actor which is evident from the movie. For people not so found of romantic kinda stuff will find all its song to be perfect. Even though some say its similar to this movie and that, i still think it had a good plot, and even if copied from Hollywood i wouldn't complain, cos its all embedded in our culture.Must watch if you watch like 5 Hindi movies a year , you now know what i mean

Everything is relative. Had I not watched Endhiran in a movie hall and walked out mid way through the show I would never have been able to tolerate this movie.Outrageous storyline, unbelievable characters and downright terrible Direction make this movie a hot item for the "Trash It" basket in any Garbage Disposal Plant. Love as the central theme of the movie may have sounded bells of Deja Vu for all but what actually disappointed the viewers was the success with which the Director managed to complete a Jigsaw of hideously ugly cinematic elements .Except for the music which was , all said and done entertaining; OK I also concede that the locales were exotic. But apart from that one could hardly argue about the inability of the movie maker to dish out a decent and gripping romantic movie. To be fair the movie wasn't very bad. It's just that it was a way off the target. The script could have easily been armoured with strong punch lines , but that wasn't the case. The characterisation was pathetically underfed. The movie is likely to to be liked by females aged 14-27 ...alright .....can stretch it to 35...but personally I would like to ask the Director to indemnify me for the losses I incurred as a result of watching this movie.

Before I start reviewing this movie, let me just say that I took two points off because- one for the lame jokes or well attempts at jokes, and another for the predictability of the movie.Now. Anjaana Anjaani. First look at the trailer or sneak peek and honestly, you don't really know what to expect from the movie. But you do know that it will be good because one- it looks DIFFERENT (something which Bollywood movies sometimes cannot do) two-the star cast looks good, and three- the director. Sajid Nadiadwala has made good movies in the past, so one expects this one to be successful too.So the movie begins with us seeing Akash (Ranbir Kapoor) walking to his suicide point, a bridge in NYC. We then find out the reason of him wanting to suicide is because he is the cause of the entire stock market crashing. As he is about to jump off the bridge, enter Kiara (Priyanka Chopra) who is drunk at the time and tells him not to hesitate and just do it. After many interrupted attempts by Akash, the coast guard catches them and tells them to get off the bridge. After they do so, Akash jumps in front of a car, and Kiara attempts again but instead, falls ON the actual bridge.Later, after meeting at the same hospital, they decide to attempt again, but together, at Kiara's house. After more than two or three MORE failed attempts, Kiara thinks that maybe they have something to complete in life so they decide to suicide on New Year's Eve at midnight. This is what leads up to the actual story. Up until this point, it is quite interesting and cute to watch. Then, the dramatic points get a bit annoying after a while, mixed in with the flashbacks, songs one after another, gets a bit annoying. Overall, it is a very good movie, but not as good as one expects. Ranbir Kapoor is an amazing actor and he has proved it mainly with this movie. Note the scene in the hotel room- the expressions are priceless. Not singling out Priyanka Chopra. You actually start to believe she is Kiara after one point. Note the sequence in the car when she breaks down and cuts her hair. It is extremely moving.Recommended if you would like a bit of a change, but maybe wait till it comes out on DVD.

First 10 to 20 Minutes will make you to expect a different movie, then comes the most boring scenes in recent times. It will check your temper till interval. Post Interval have few good scenes which you might enjoy with your lover and then comes the OLD Hindi Melodrama with lot of tears and then a Happy ending with a Hug. The Narration is too slow for viewers to adjust in the first half, while second have good scope for a good love story like that of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or Jab We Met. Whatever happening in the name of Comedy will make you feel to walk away from theater, are just torturing. Most of the scene all around are predictable and sometimes is too boring and lengthy. The Story is as old as Color movies in Hindi. But the movie can watched for the chemistry and the beauty of the top two actors Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka Chopra is the heart of the movie. Apart from good looking Ranbir Kapoor is not good enough for melodrama scenes. Two of the songs are also catchy and for a Musical film like this it should have given more importance to Songs. The Directed had tried to give a Hollywood touch in desi Love Fantasy story.
