Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Weston Gale This movie definitely exceeded my expectations. It definitely trumps divergent by far, might even be on par with the hunger games. This movie was non stop action, and mystery. It definitely succeeded in keeping me on edge wondering what was going to happen next. If you're contemplating whether or not you should watch it, do yourself a favour and watch it, believe me you will not regret it! Although Abstraction story isn't one of the brilliants I have seen, it is interesting enough to satisfy my interest. Opening scene is intriguing and wakes your interest to wait to see what to come. Biggest problem is the movie casting. Hunter Ives is interesting character enough. After all great scenery combined with intensive storytelling is fresh enough to bring this movie a little bit more interesting, than most of those Hollywood's post-apocalyptic serial productions these days.Great stuff! Well that's about it for what I have to say, you've gotta watch the movie to really understand the good things about it. The movie Is good.
jagerpeter67879 I just finished watching this movie. It is briskly paced, brilliantly shot and meticulously choreographed and keeps you wanting more and more. This action sequence remains the best in the film and will have you grasping your theater seat because of the sheer intensity of it. Overall, Abstraction is slick, violent fun that turns into a remarkable, surprising film that will catch you off guard. It is THAT good. I highly recommend this film to action buffs especially but I'm sure those who just like a good movie will love it as well.Anyone that says this movie is bad or complains about the plot or acting etc. needs a reality check. Action movies have never been known for their story lines and all the drama etc., it's an action flick so it won't win any big Oscars for acting etc. but it will give you a thrilling joyride.I highly recommend this movie and congratulations to the film and crew on making this instant classic.
Sky Tallone I got a chance to see this film screen at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival in LA this year, and even got to meet the incredibly talented director and lead actors. Full of action and plot twists with fantastic acting from everyone, especially Richard Manriquez who plays Tommy's partner in crime, Gary. Ken Davitian (Borat) also plays a vital character. Every single element of this film was incredibly well-done. It's beautiful and polished with high production quality, action, good characters and a well-written story. There were certain story elements that I felt were a bit of a stretch, certain things that didn't seem realistic. If anything could have been better, it would be some of the smaller details of the story and the dialogue. It's more of a drama than an action film which makes it a bit more difficult to market, but it's definitely worth watching and never feels slow or too long. Great acting, natural and real characters, and some absolutely gorgeous bigger-than-life shots. Prince said that shooting took place over the course of about six months, but the project was in the works for nearly two years from script to final cut, and done on a very modest budget considering the result. Very very impressive, definitely check this one out. Won Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, and People's Choice Nominee at HRIFF.
